Biography
John A. Feichtel concentrates his practice in business, estate planning, healthcare and real estate law. His clients are middle market, growing, emerging and family-owned businesses. John assists clients in a wide variety of legal, real estate, general business matters. He assists his clients in both general and transactional matters including entity selection, formation, purchase and governance of new or existing businesses and counsels established businesses with end of life-cycle matters such as sales, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning and dissolution. John delivers practical and sensible legal advice to his clients in simple terms that are easy to understand and implement.
John’s experience in healthcare law has helped providers navigate a realm of complex regulatory issues such as HIPAA, STARK and the Anti-Kickback Statutes. He has also guided providers in issues related to physician employment, general business matters and the addition of ancillary services.
From starter homes to multimillion dollar commercial development, John represents real estate clients in all aspects of acquisition, leasing, financing and sale of real property.
John has previously taught business law at the Harrisburg Area Community College and frequently presents at educational seminars in the areas of estate planning and business formation.
John volunteers in his community by serving as a Board Member of the Cumberland Valley Eagle Foundation, where he also serves as the Chair of its Development Committee. John is a licensed pilot. He lives in Silver Spring Township with his wife and three daughters.
