The New Year Brings Increases in Salary Thresholds

The Labor/Employment Team at Mette wants to remind businesses that the threshold for administrative, executive, and professional exemptions under the FLSA rises on January 1, 2025 to $1,128 weekly/$58,656 annually. This change also apply to exemptions under the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act. The federal exemption for Highly Compensated Employees has also increased to $151,164 for FLSA only.
