Our insurance practice, led by Matt Coble, is increasingly national in scope, and encompasses regulatory, transactional, and administrative matters. His touches on all aspects of insurance regulation, including obtaining regulatory approvals for acquisitions of companies and blocks of business, expansions, holding company transactions and filings, licensing, product and policy, development, reinsurance, examinations, and investigations, and general corporate matters.

Legal Matters We Handle
We regularly assist our clients with transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters, including but certainly not limited to:
- Acting as counsel to insurers (and agencies) in connection with entity acquisitions.
- Preparing and securing regulatory approval of Form As and disclaimers of control (as well as Form E and related exemption filings).
- Serving as counsel in connection with capital raising in insurance entities.
- Facilitating mutual insurer transactions, conversions, and affiliations.
- Preparing holding company filings and Enterprise Risk Reports.
- Obtaining Form D approvals for affiliate transactions.
- Handling insurer conversions, mergers, and re-domestications.
- Managing insurer licensing and expansion projects through the UCAA filing process.
- Setting up licensure for risk purchasing groups
- Representing licensees in examinations and enforcement.
- Supporting insurance company rehabilitation and liquidation claims.
Our experienced Insurance Regulatory & Corporate Law team includes one of three Pennsylvania members of the Federation of Regulatory Counsel, a multi-national association of lawyers with significant experience in the practice of insurance regulatory law.
