It is with great sadness that Mette, Evans & Woodside announces that Howell Mette passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the age of 91. Howell was one of the founders of our firm 50 years ago, an outstanding practitioner, a mentor and friend, a law school professor for decades, a partner, a father and a husband. We honor him and will forever hold him in our hearts and memories.
