Biography
James is a litigator and problem solver whose practice centers on real estate disputes and professional-licensure defense. He represents real estate brokers, agents, buyers, and other industry participants in all matters including contract and disclosure disputes leading to mediation, arbitration, and civil litigation.
James’s practice ranges from defending brokers and agents in civil lawsuits to handling litigation involving commercial real estate valued in the tens of millions of dollars. His experience also includes briefing and arguing precedent-setting appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, with outcomes that impact billions of dollars in commerce across the Commonwealth.
James also maintains a robust professional-licensure practice, representing and defending clients before nearly every Pennsylvania board and commission, including the Real Estate Commission, Board of Medicine, Board of Nursing, Board of Dentistry, Board of Occupational Therapy, Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers, and the Board for Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors. He has further represented clients in administrative proceedings before the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and the Public Utility Commission.
