Tracy Updike to join Widener University Commonwealth Law School as Adjunct Professor of Bankruptcy Law

Ms. Updike joined the Mette, Evans & Woodside team in in October of 2019. She focuses her practice in the field of consumer and commercial bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, including foreclosure and commercial loan workouts. She represents both debtors and creditors which she believes gives her pronounced insight when advocating on behalf of her clients. She also handles negotiations with taxing authorities, including offers in compromise with the IRS, the PA Department of Revenue and local agencies.  Updike is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and for the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association.

Beginning January 2021, Ms. Updike will add teaching credentials to her resume and share her enthusiasm for the law and helping people get a fresh financial start with her students who are newcomers to the world of bankruptcy law.
