Will Chair The Bankruptcy Law Section

Mette, Evans & Woodside Attorney Tracy Updike has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Dauphin County Bar Association and will chair the Bankruptcy Law Section.

The Bankruptcy Law Section provides a forum through which members of the Dauphin County Bar Association who practice in the field of bankruptcy, restructuring and debtor/creditor law may network and keep current on cases, legislation, and local procedure.

The Section invites guest speakers to present various topics of interest at regularly scheduled continuing legal education sessions. The Section will have an annual member meeting to discuss members’ concerns and needs, and will serve as a liaison with the Middle District Bankruptcy Court regarding administrative procedures and local practice.

To the extent possible, the Section hopes to work in conjunction with the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association to socialize and to encourage and provide education to young attorneys on entering practice in federal bankruptcy courts.
