Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Practice Areas

Harrisburg, PA - Mette, Evans & Woodside has added two new attorneys to their Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice areas. Henry and Melissa Van Eck, with more than two decades of combined experience in bankruptcy and creditors' rights, have joined the firm to provide counsel to clients in these areas. The Bankruptcy practice area provides counsel to debtors and creditors in need of representation in all matters relating to bankruptcy. The Creditors' Rights practice provides counsel to businesses and lenders in need of representation in all matters relating to collection, including foreclosures, workouts and collections.

Henry W. Van Eck has joined the firm as a Shareholder. He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law and Susquehanna University. He is admitted to the bar in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is also a Director with the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association and currently serves as Chair of the Rules Committee.

Melissa Van Eck received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and her B.S. from Shepherd University in West Virginia, and joins the firm as an Associate. She is admitted to the bar in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Dauphin County Board of Arbitration. The Van Ecks most recently practiced with Van Eck & Van Eck P.C., in Harrisburg.
