Timothy A. Hoy
Mr. Hoy began his career by serving for two years as the Judicial Clerk for Sylvia H. Rambo, United States District Court Judge. Prior to joining Mette, Evans & Woodside in 2000, Mr. Hoy spent five years with Keystone Financial, Inc. as in-house counsel where he managed litigation and handled banking and regulatory work.
During his tenure at Mette, Evans & Woodside, Mr. Hoy has acted as counsel to several publicly traded financial institutions, providing advice on regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, Securities and Exchange Commission filings, Sarbanes-Oxley obligations, executive compensation and employment agreements, loan documentation, creditors' rights and payments issues. Mr. Hoy also counsels privately-held businesses on asset acquisitions, financing transactions, employment issues, contracts and litigation.
Mr. Hoy taught Payment Systems at The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University from 2004-2010 and Widener Law Harrisburg in 2011. He serves on the Board of Directors of Woolrich, Inc.
