Randall G. Hurst
Mr. Hurst is a 1971 graduate of Michigan State University and received a Masters degree in Environmental Pollution Control from the Pennsylvania State University in 1989. While attending Widener University School of Law, he was awarded the James S. Bowman American Inn of Court Award for excellence in Administrative Law and was ranked third in his class. He received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Widener in 1999.
He has authored many articles on various aspects of wastewater treatment, water quality standards and professionalism. The Pennsylvania Water Environment Association presented Attorney Hurst with the prestigious Walter A. Lyon Purity of Waters Award for his extraordinary service and commitment to the protection of Pennsylvania waters, the Ted Moses High Hat award for service and the Ted Haseltine Award for contributions to wastewater technical knowledge. In 1996 he was awarded the David H. Schulte Memorial Personnel Advancement Award by the Eastern Pennsylvania Water Pollution Control Operators Association.
