Attorney Peter Ressler counsels corporate, commercial and private clients in a wide range of legal matters. His legal practice focuses on taxation with an emphasis on guiding clients through the interwoven intricacies of estate and business planning, estates and real estate transactions.
Always willing to share his vast taxation legal expertise with law students, he was an Adjunct Professor at Pennsylvania State University - Dickinson Law from 1966 to 2002. During his tenure with the law school, Dickinson honored him with the Edward C. First Distinguished Faculty Achievement award. He was also recognized with the school's Outstanding Alumni Award in 2003.
In addition to teaching law students, Peter has written and lectured extensively on tax topics for professional legal continuing education courses at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania State University, the Dickinson Forum and other organizations.
He serves as a member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Peter's commitment to his clients is only matched by his long-standing involvement in bettering the Central Pennsylvania community. He has contributed countless time and resources to the area's non-profit and professional organizations. He is the former Chairman of the Central Pennsylvania Allied Arts Fund and presently serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (formerly The Greater Harrisburg Foundation).
