Peter J. Ressler
Taxation with emphasis on estate and business planning, estates and real estate transactions are the principal areas of practice of attorney Ressler. He counsels corporate, commercial and private clients in a wide range of legal matters.
He is a former Adjunct Professor at The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University lecturing in taxation from 1966 to 2002. Mr. Ressler is a recipient of the Edward C. First Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award and the school's 2003 Outstanding Alumni Award.
Mr. Ressler has written and lectured extensively on tax topics at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania State University, the Dickinson Forum and other organizations.
Mr. Ressler is a member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and serves on many boards of civic organizations in the central Pennsylvania area. He formerly was the Chairman of the Central Pennsylvania Allied Arts Fund and presently serves on the Investment Advisory Committee of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (formerly The Greater Harrisburg Foundation) which has $48,000,000 of assets under management.
