Mr. Farrell has been practicing in the field of insurance defense litigation, for thirty-two years. He has focused his practice in defending employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters. He is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
JAMES L. GOLDSMITH, SHAREHOLDER
Mr. Goldsmith has practiced law continuously since 1978. His practice focuses on two major
areas of the law: the representation of professionals in defending their licenses before the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs and the representation of professional trade associations. His trade association clients have included the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs, the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®, the Greater Philadelphia Association of REALTORS®, and the Greater Scranton Board of REALTORS®.
MICHAEL D. REED, SHAREHOLDER
Mr. Reed brings 36 years of experience to Mette, Evans & Woodside. He represents clients in construction law and litigation matters. He also handles cases involving administrative and procurement law and has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration, both as an advocate and as a neutral. He is certified as a mediator in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and has also completed the course work for mediator certification in the State Supreme Court of Virginia.
VERONICA L. BOYER, ASSOCIATE
Ms. Boyer focuses her practice in construction law and litigation as well as commercial, real estate and general civil litigation. She is also active in matters involving procurement law and related administrative law issues. Ms. Boyer has over eight years of experience practicing as a civil litigator and was recently named one of Central Penn Business Journal's 30 Women of Influence for her demonstrated commitment to both her clients and the community.
VICTORIA P. EDWARDS, ASSOCIATE
Ms. Edwards' practice focuses in workers' compensation and social security disability matters. In 2016, Ms. Edwards was recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers. Prior to joining Mette, Evans & Woodside, she practiced with several law firms in Central Pennsylvania.
