Kate Abbott joined Mette, Evans & Woodside in 2015 as a paralegal and assists the firm's attorneys in the Agricultural Law, Estates & Trusts, and Real Estate & Land Use practice groups.
Ms. Abbott graduated summa cum laude from McCann School of Business & Technology with her Associates Degree in 2011.
Jeta C. Combs-Birch is a Certified Paralegal whose legal career began in 1991. Prior to joining Mette, Evans & Woodside, she worked for several law firms and legal service organizations.
Jeta's core responsibilities are working with attorneys in the estate administration and estate planning practice areas. She also assists with legal matters pertaining to real estate, small business/farming and corporation matters, as they relate to estate planning and administration.
She graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College, summa cum laude, with an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies. She also received her Legal Secretary Certification from Trend Business College in Eugene, Oregon.
In her free time, Jeta volunteers with her church and different community organizations including Wills For Hero's. She also spends visiting time with residents of local nursing facilities. Her hobbies include reading, kayaking and fishing.
Ms. Knode has been a paralegal since 1979 and has been with the firm of Mette, Evans & Woodside since 2001. She regularly assists attorneys in the Asset Preservation practice group and also works with the Corporate Law practice group.
Ms. Knode graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Harrisburg Area Community College with both her Associate's Degree in 1978 and her Paralegal Certificate in 1980.
Betty McMullan serves as a paralegal with Mette, Evans and Woodside's real estate and business law practice areas. She has been a paralegal since 1998 and also is a licensed title agent. Ms. McMullan assists the firm's attorneys in all areas of real estate and business law.
Jessica Porter has been a paralegal since 2007 and has been with Mette, Evans & Woodside since 2011. She assists the firm's attorneys in the areas of litigation as well as estate administration and natural gas rights.
Jeremy Redding serves as Director of Administration for Mette, Evans & Woodside. In his position, Mr. Redding is responsible for the business and administrative functions for the law firm, including financial and facilities management. Mr. Redding served as Controller for Letum, Inc. prior to joining Mette, Evans & Woodside.
