Mark D. Hipp
Mark D. Hipp has an expertise in Banking & Business Law, Energy Law, Estates & Trusts, Real Estate & Land Use and Taxation. His primary focuses include Business Law, Energy Law, Estates & Trusts and Taxation. Representative clients range from individuals with family business or real estate interests to corporations that require zoning approvals for the expansion of wireless telecommunication networks throughout the Commonwealth.
Mark's practice is active in the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania where he frequently counsels and assists landowners with properties that have valuable oil and natural gas interests. In addition to negotiating leases, lease renewals, extension agreements and surface rights agreements, he routinely assists in the formation of family-owned entities that acquire subsurface rights and transition of such interests through tax efficient planning.
Mark is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh; received a Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law; and earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the Villanova University School of Law.
Mark is actively involved with community groups in Central Pennsylvania and serves on the Board of Directors of two regional nonprofit associations. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Dauphin County Bar Associations and the Estate Planning Council of Central Pennsylvania.
