Harrisburg, PA - Long time Mette, Evans & Woodside attorney Randall G. Hurst was presented with the prestigious Walter A. Lyon Purity of Waters Award by the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association (PWEA). The award, named after the first head of Pennsylvania's Department of Environmental Protection, was presented to Hurst at the Association's annual conference in June.
Hurst, an active member of PWEA, received the award for his extraordinary personal service and commitment to the PWEA and the protection of waters throughout the Commonwealth. He has previously been recognized by PWEA and by the Eastern Pennsylvania Water Control Operator's Association for his ongoing advocacy efforts. A noted author of many articles on various aspects of wastewater treatment, Hurst focuses his practice on Environmental and Real Estate Law for Mette, Evans & Woodside.
